Every streaming service offers some different and similar perks and some disadvantages as well.
#SPOTIFREE VS SMUTEFY HOW TO#
The question is how to choose the best streaming service because there are many streaming services, including Apple Music, SoundCloud, Spotify, and SiriusXM. With smartphones, people can listen to their favorite music on streaming platforms. With the launch of YouTube Premium Lite I see no reason to continue paying for the normal one, I'm tired of waiting for features and I just paid for YTP to avoid those fucking ads on TV tbh. With technological advancements, there are options to choose from for listening to music. Lot of people maybe like YouTube Music mainly because you have songs and videos (live versions) in one service but me, as a music format listener, I don't like video versions of a song or album, every time I found an album or song I try to listen the music format of that album/song, and because those versions most of the times are in lower quality than the music format, and if the user that uploaded decides to delete it or its account you're fucked. With Spotify I can listen endlessly even with cast with no interruptions, I missed a lot its Spotify Connect feature where I can use my phone as a remote, its library management have fixed everything I need and I its autoplay looks more interesting. Its autoplay kinda sucks as well, I'm always getting the same artists and songs, with all the genres I listen, making it useless. Its library management sucks, no artist sorting, no recently played albums or playlists, no option to pin your favourite albums and playlists, and won't start with YouTube library management, it's a fucking mess. Its cast feature sucks, no autoplay, shuffle is a joke and many times it randomly stops, it sounds ridiculous that if I want to continuously listen to music I have to listen via Bluetooth.
#SPOTIFREE VS SMUTEFY UPDATE#
I used YTM actively since 2019 until march 2022 and tbh I haven't found any substantial update or feature to be superior than Spotify yet.

as of myself, I just cancelled it cuz of the data consumption, for me it was tremendous that month that I tested, but I felt mesmerized by the quality of the music algorithm.

If you really enjoy the music experience and always looking for more and new bands and songs, you should go for YTM. If you just want something to hear while working out or at the job, or the classic 80's 90's 2000's playlists, go for spotify. It really depends on what you're looking for.
#SPOTIFREE VS SMUTEFY PC#
ease to create and share a playlist, gapless or crossfade changes between songs, the app itself is just a plugin in mac and pc devices, if you don't have an unlimited data plan whenever you're out of wifi, the data consumption is extremely high. YTM loses pretty much against all other streaming services, in the "features" arena, i.e. Its algorithm is way advanced, it shows you great music according to your preferences, as for the music-experience is definite the best, needless to mention that almost every music style or cover is there, to put it in a sentence, in YTM you can have any underground band covering "all you need is love" by the Beatles, in a nu-polka style, as crazy as it hears, and it would be quite an experience, this only works if you like and enjoy music a lot, if you're a melomaniac. I tried YTM for one month, and I can tell you this: -YTM beats any other music streaming service by far.
